Robert Sirota, born in New York City in 1949, has established himself as a composer, conductor, and administrator.

His catalogue of works includes three short operas and a full-length music theatre piece as well as orchestral, symphonic band, chamber, and recital works. He is especially well known for his rich choral music and his many works involving the organ.

Sirota's principal publishers are Theodore Presser, Morning Star, Music Associates of New York, and Boelke-Bomart.

He is a member of ASCAP and resides in New York City.


Sirota's music is "filled with originality, inspiration and musical demands."
